They are statements of truth. Insights are formed from meaningful perceptions of behavior, they contain rational and emotional components. It should be inspiring, meaningful and have a story. It is also the most time consuming process in the synthesis phase, because a good insight is earned by burning the last tissue in your brain 😛

How did I use it?
This tool came in handy for the research phase of my MA Strategic Design 1st semester. The project was related to climate change and as a team(3 members) we were able to collect huge amount of data on the subject, requirement, client and target group.
Key insights formed the basis for our ideation phases. It helps to categorize your insights to better address the problem within it.
